The International Journal of Law Management & Humanities (ISSN: 2581–5369) is a bi-monthly, open access peer-reviewed refereed journal that accepts manuscripts in the fields of Law, Management and Humanities. Submissions are accepted on a rolling basis.

Submission & Review Process

Manuscript handling from submission to publication

All manuscripts undergo the following process. Authors are notified at each stage by email and WhatsApp. Manuscript status is available in real time via the online tracking system.

Manuscript Submission
Submitted through the online submission portal or by email to submission@ijlmh.com. No submission charge is applicable.
Initial Screening
Technical and Plagiarism Screened using Turnitin/Drillbit (without submission to repository) before proceeding to editorial review.
Conducted at submission stage
Double-Blind Peer Review
Reviewed for quality, originality and disciplinary accuracy. The identities of author(s) and reviewer(s) are not disclosed to either party.
Decision within 1–2 working days
Pre-Publication Formalities
Authors of provisionally accepted manuscripts complete the copyright form and article processing charge. Manuscripts requiring revision are notified with specific editorial feedback.
Editorial Process
Final editorial process before publication. The editorial team may request modifications; authors are notified with detailed remarks.

Requirements for manuscript submission

Citation & Footnote Format
Bluebook 21st Edition
All footnotes and references must strictly conform to Bluebook citation format. Submissions with non-Bluebook citations will be returned for revision.
Heading Structure

Headings must follow a numbered hierarchical format (1., 1.1, 1.1.1 etc.) for structural clarity and ease of editorial review.

  • Manuscripts must not have been previously published, and must not be under simultaneous review at any other journal, conference or edited volume. Manuscripts found to be under parallel review will be immediately rejected.
  • The manuscript must represent the original work of the authors, free from plagiarism and defamatory content, and conform to standards of grammatical correctness.
  • Submissions must include an abstract not exceeding 300 words and a statement of the author(s)’ institutional affiliation. Submissions without an abstract will not be considered.
  • All footnotes and references must conform to the Bluebook 21st Edition.
  • Co-authorship is permitted up to a maximum of four authors. Article processing charges vary by number of authors — see the charges section below.
  • Copyright over published material vests with the International Journal of Law Management & Humanities.
  • Manuscripts submitted by email must be accompanied by a cover letter stating the author(s)’ names, institutional affiliation, email address, mobile number and the title of the manuscript.
  • Submissions must be made in .doc format. PDF submissions or doc file converted from PDF files are not accepted.
  • The manuscript must contain no identification of the author(s). Names, affiliations and other identifying information must be absent from the manuscript file itself.

No charge is applicable at the time of submission. Article processing charges become due only upon acceptance of the manuscript for publication. Charges vary by number of authors.

Co-authorship is permitted for up to a maximum of four authors per manuscript. Charges for three or four authors are as stated above. Author queries

Yes. The Journal accepts submissions from students at any university, provided the manuscript meets the submission guidelines. Student-authored manuscripts are subject to the same double-blind review process as all other submissions.
Co-authorship is permitted up to a maximum of four authors. The standard article processing charge covers up to two authors. Manuscripts with three or four authors are subject to higher processing charges — see the Article Processing Charges section for the full fee schedule.
No. The Journal accepts manuscripts in English only.
The article processing charge is payable only upon acceptance of the manuscript for publication. No charge is applicable at the time of submission or during the review process.
Status is available in real time at ijlmh.com/track-manuscript using the Manuscript ID and registered email address. Notifications are dispatched by email and WhatsApp at each stage.
